The aim of this standard is to guarantee the traceability and integrity of the raw materials during every phase of the manufacturing process. OCS 100 logo is used only for products that contain 95% or more organic material.

It defines high-level environmental criteria throughout the supply chain for organic textiles and also requires compliance with social criteria. Only textile products that contain a minimum of 70% organic fibers can become GOTS certified.
